After 43 years of proudly serving the Isle of Wight, Island Computer Systems Ltd, the popular local computer store, has made the difficult decision to close its physical doors. This decision comes as a result of evolving market trends and the increasing shift towards online commerce. The doors will close at 1600 on 24th November as our final day at Horsebridge Hill.
Since 1980 Island Computer Systems Ltd has been a cornerstone for technology enthusiasts, providing a wide range of hardware, software, and expert advice. The decision to close the physical store is not taken lightly, and we express our gratitude to the loyal customers who have supported us throughout the years.
While the storefront may be closing, we are excited to announce that Island Computer Systems Ltd will continue to thrive in the marine and engineering analysis software realm as a Bentley Systems Authorised Channel Partner.
Starting 25th November Island Computer Systems Ltd will exclusively operate online, offering Maxsurf naval architecture, Multiframe structural software, MicroStation CAD and training. Our online presence will allow us to reach an international audience and adapt to the dynamic needs of our customers.
